Refund Policy

This policy applies to any advance payment made to Vaishno Devi Booking to confirm a hotel, transport, or helicopter booking as part of your Vaishno Devi yatra. Building your itinerary and getting a quote is always free and carries no cancellation terms, since no payment is taken at that stage.

1. Cancellations by You

  • 7 or more days before travel: full refund of any advance paid, minus any non-refundable amount already committed to a hotel or partner on your behalf.
  • 3–6 days before travel: 50% refund of the advance paid.
  • Less than 3 days before travel: advance payments are generally non-refundable, as hotel and transport partners are typically non-refundable this close to arrival.

These windows may vary slightly depending on the specific hotel or helicopter operator's own cancellation terms, which we will share with you at the time of booking.

2. Helicopter Cancellations Due to Weather

If your helicopter slot is cancelled by the Shrine Board due to weather or operational reasons, you will be rebooked on the next available slot at no extra cost, or offered a full refund of the helicopter portion of your booking if rebooking isn't possible or preferred.

3. Cancellations or Changes by Us

If we are unable to fulfil a confirmed booking for any reason within our control, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the affected portion of your trip, or the option to rebook at no extra cost.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval. You'll receive a written confirmation over WhatsApp or email once your refund has been initiated.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

Contact your travel expert directly on WhatsApp, or email info@vaishnodevibooking.com with your booking details, as early as possible. Earlier requests give us the best chance of minimizing any non-refundable commitments already made on your behalf.
